Bunker Arms Signature 1911s are a unique blend of art and function, expertly crafted to meet the needs of the most demanding enthusiast and collectors. Our Signature 1911s start with the original blueprint at the foundation of what is a more holistic approach to building a World Class 1911. Many custom 1911 builders select parts from multiple vendors and simply fit these parts without much consideration to the aggregate effect on the system as a whole. At Bunker Arms, each part is selected after vigorous testing or manufactured in-house specifically to adhere to a blueprint approach to ensure that ALL parts interact and fit with exact precision. Frames are made from a 4140 carbon steel forging, CNC machined to exact tolerances, and heat treated to 28-32rc.  Each frame is precision fit to a CNC machined billet slide made from 4140 carbon steel hardened to 38-40rc. Frame will have machine cut checkering, slide stop pin hole countersunk, deburred, chamfered edges, and precision ground flats. Slide will be flat topped, machine cut top serrations, deburred, chamfered edges, precision ground flats. Parts used in your custom 1911 come from in-house design and manufacturing, or from the best names in the industry including, EGW, Extreme Engineering, KKM, ISMI and more. Comes with elegant locking hard case, 2 magazines, and barrel bushing wrench if applicable.
